SIOUX CITY FALL TO T-BONES IN HIGH SCORING CONTEST

The Sioux City Explorers put up eight huge runs, but went on to fall to the T-Bones with a 10-8 score at Mercy Fied at LEws and Clark Park.

T-Bones C Leonardo Rojas blasted his fourth home run of the year, hitting a two-run shot in the second to make it 2-0. The T-Bones added three more runs in the third, but the Explorers came scoring back, as they scored four runs in the third inning.

With the score 9-4 in the sixth, RF Jayce Ray hit a three-run shot, his fourth homer of the year to make it 9-7. However, the Explorers were unable to further cut the deficit, as the T-Bones went on to win 10-8.

RHP Cody Winiarski earned the save, allowing one run in the ninth in the process. RHP Chris Perry earned his first win of the year, allowing seven runs in six innings, but he received ample run support in the victory.
