Sioux City-----The Explorers dropped an 8-4 decision to the Fargo-Moorhead Red Hawks here Sunday in the final game of the three-game series.  By winning the final game of the three-game series, Fargo-Moorhead took the series two games to one as the Explorers have lost six of their last seven games.  The Red Hawks had 13 hits in the win led by Nic Jackson with three hits and three RBI's.  Fargo-Moorhead scored two runs in the second inning to take the early 2-0 lead but, the Explorers tied the game in the third getting two un-earned runs.  However, the Red Hawks took the lead for good in the fourth inning scoring two runs and adding single runs in the fifth and seventh innings with two insurance runs in the ninth.  The Explorers did score two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning on a two-run home run by Ryan Priddy, his fourth of the season.  Brandon Newton led the X's with three hits.  Aaron Shafer pitched seven inning to record his first win of the year while starter Richard Salazar took the loss for the Explorers dropping his record to 1-3.  Sioux City will now start a seven-game road trip Monday at Wichita with four-games and then to Lincoln over the weekend for three.  The Explorers will return home next Monday, June 11th to face Sioux Falls.
