2020 SEASON POSTPONEMENT FAQ06/14/2020 4:29 PM
![]() 2020 SEASON POSTPONEMENT FAQ 2020 Season Postponement FAQ
Why did you decide to postpone the season? It was a very difficult decision that was not entirely black and white as playing or not playing. There were many variables involved in our decision making process and we worked closely with local government officials to try and help determine what our best course of action was and we felt as though this decision was made with the best interests of the Siouxland community in mind.
Are the Explorers done? For the 2020 season yes, we have suspended baseball operations, but we will be back for the 2021 baseball season right here in Sioux City.
I am a half and or full season ticket holder for 2020, what happens to my tickets? Your tickets will be rolled over for the 2021 season at no extra charge if you have already paid them off. If you still owe money for your 2020 season tickets that will simply be attributed to your 2021 season tickets.
I bought flex tickets for myself or someone else, what about me? You will be treated the same as a season ticket holder. Your 2020 flex tickets will be good for the 2021 season at no extra charge.
I booked a luxury suite for a game during the 2020 season, what do I do? We will work with you to pick out a new date on the 2021 schedule for your luxury suite. The 2021 schedule should be available this coming October or November.
I received tickets as a donation or as a prize in a contest, what becomes of those? Again we will honor those tickets for the 2021 season, while unfortunately you can’t use them this summer you can certainly use them next year.
Not really a question but I’m just disappointed. We are too, trust us when we say we would much rather be worried about our four game lead in the standings than what is going on. But you can still be disappointed in a decision that you feel was the correct one. And we will make it our mission to bring you Explorers baseball in 2021 better than it has ever been.
