HOME SWEET HOME CONTINUES FOR X’S

EXPLORERS HOST CLEBURNE

 

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Sioux City Explorers fresh off their sweep of the Winnipeg Goldeyes look to continue their winning ways when they host the Cleburne Railroaders for a four-game series as the second half of the seven-game homestand begins tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Mercy One Field at Lewis and Clark Park. The X’s have a loaded weekend of fun at the ballpark to go along with an exciting team on the field.

Thursday July 6 – 7:05 p.m.

Thirsty Thursday: $1 on any select canned beer or select Pepsi canned soda!

 

Friday July 7 – 7:05 p.m.

Post-game fireworks thanks to Lantis Fireworks with Explorers 4th of July game worn Jersey Auction.

Pirates and Princess night. Also, FREE Vince Fernandez T-shirts will be thrown during the game, thanks to Absolute Screen Art. Stay around after the game to get it autographed.

 

Saturday July 8 – 6:05 p.m.

The first 500 fans receive an Explorers Pennant Banner thanks to Aetna.

Sunday July 9 – 4:05 p.m.

Military Sunday— all military personnel can buy one ticket and receive one FREE with valid ID! Sunday is also Bark in the Park Day, so bring your furry friends out to enjoy the game with you! Water and treats will be available for all dogs! Sunday is also Family Fun Day—(1) Reserved seat game ticket, (1) hot dog, and (1) bottled Pepsi for ONLY $13 per family member! After the game, kids can enjoy running the bases like their favorite Explorer!

Following the series, the Explores will travel to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to face the Lake Country DockHounds for three games July 10-12. They then enjoy an off-day July 13 in Fargo. The X’s will face the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks next, July 14-16 before the American Association All-Star break July 17-19. The team will finally return home July 20 to face the Lincoln Saltdogs in a three-game series.
