The Explorers continuously strive to remain a big part of the Siouxland community all year round, even when we aren’t playing baseball! Throughout the year and during the season, the entire organization including the front office, coaches and players, our mascot Slider want to give back to the community through appearances, partnering with non-profit organizations and youth events.

Donations
Throughout the year, the X’s make in-kind donations to multiple benefits, area high schools and fundraising events throughout the Siouxland area. If you are looking for donations, please fill out the Donation Request Form and return it to the X’s Front Office by mailing your request to the office or emailing your request to Samantha Burkhart at [email protected]. Requests must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the event. Once it has been submitted and reviewed, you will be contacted regarding your request. Please note we try to accommodate as many requests as possible, but due to the large amount of requests, we simply cannot honor each and every request.
Player/Mascot Appearances
If you would like Slider or an Explorers player to make an appearance at your next event, please fill out our Appearance Request Form and return to the X’s Front Office or email Molly Bixenman at [email protected]. Appearances are granted on a first come first serve basis. Requests must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the event. Once the Appearance Request Form has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted regarding your request.
