EXPLORERS FINAL HOMESTAND OF THE SEASON
SIOUX CITY STILL ALIVE IN RACE FOR THE POSTSEASON
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Sioux City Explorers return home for the team’s final homestand after winning two of three at Gary SouthShore. The Explorers are heating up on the sprint to the finish, firmly in the mix for a playoff spot. The X’s are also heating up plenty of affordable family fun at Lewis and Clark Park. With only three home games remaining, the Explorers are making it our Fan Appreciation Weekend. We will celebrate the fans who have cheered us on all season with fun promotions all weekend long. We will offer 26% off in the team store, and the opportunity to trade in ALL unused tickets at the ticket office.
Don’t let the season end without catching one more game at the ballpark. Come out, make some noise, and cheer on the X’s as we fight to secure a playoff spot. Let’s make these final three home games ones to remember! X’s marks the fun spot!

SATURDAY, August 29–4:05 p.m. Doubleheader featuring two seven-inning games, starting at 4:05 pm.
HARLEY-DAVISDON NIGHT— It is our first-ever Harley-Davidson Night. After the game, we will auction off the Harley-Davidson jerseys, thanks to Rooster’s Harley-Davidson. Don’t miss your chance to bid on a game-worn Rooster’s Harley-Davidson jersey- Presented by Roosters Harley-Davidson.
POST GAME FIREWORKS- Following the second game, there will be a post-game fireworks show.

MILITARY SUNDAYS- All military personnel can buy one ticket and get a second one FREE with valid ID, Presented by Liberty National Bank.

KIDS RUN THE BASES–After the game, kids can enjoy running around the bases just like their favorite Explorer!

Following the series, the Explorers will be off on Monday, August 31 then begin the final road trip of the season Tuesday, September 1 at Kansas City. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. The team will face Kansas City September 1 to September 3, then close out the regular season at Lake Country, September 4 to September 7.
